Grungey board

Good afternoon! Today I have a multi media board to share that has really evolved :)

As you can see this is not my usual style of liking things to be "pretty"....this board has evolved from being totally "ugly" to acceptable "distressed" lol.

I am going to enter this into Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge: Favorite technique. I love to used Golden Gel Mediums Light Molding Paste on my boards to create depth and interest :)

Have a great day! Hugs, TRace

Tracey this is gorgeous! Love that you layered on the paint and the Gel Mediums to add the depth. Beautiful canvas!

Also wanted to comment on how much I like this canvas! I love the grunge on this with your bright and happy text. I am wondering if you traced, cut out, and then pasted the text onto the canvas...? But it does seem to have the raised dots within the text. Awesome job! Thanks for sharing.

The baclground was created first with many colours and layers of paint....BUT I did not like it LOL. SO I decided to put down letters and then I painted over everything in green paint. Then the letters we peeled off to reveal the background only in the letters. I further distressed the green to get the final look :)

IT is such a GORGEOUS canvas! You should do this more often... I do like to know how you managed the lettering to pop like that!?
